Dr. Arturo Hernandez, PhD, is a Faculty Scientist III at the Maine Medical Center Research Institute. He earned his B.S. from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and his Ph.D. from the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He completed his postdoctoral training at Dartmouth Medical School. His research focuses on delineating the roles of thyroid hormones in complex neurodevelopmental and neuroendocrine disorders, aiming to understand their impact on brain development and endocrine regulation.
