CSABA FEKETE

Csaba Fekete graduated as MD in 1995 at the Albert Szentgyörgyi Medical University, Szeged, Hungary. He has started neuroendocrine research as a student in the laboratory of Zsolt Liposits. He received PhD degree at the Semmelweis University of Medicine Budapest, Hungary in 2003 and DSc degree in biology at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2009. He received postdoctoral training in the field of the central regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis at the laboratory of Prof. Ronald M. Lechan at the Division of Endocrionology of the Tufts Medical School, Boston, MA, USA.
He has been working at the Institute of Experimental Medicine since 2000. He is the leader of the Integrative Neuroendocrinology Research Group since 2010.
His research interests include the central regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis and the hypothalamic regulation of the energy homeostasis.
