Dr. Frédéric Flamant received a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology in Lyon France. He is now research director at INRAE. He is also the deputy director of the Institut Génomique Fonctionnelle de Lyon and head of a group "Functional genomics of thyroid hormone receptors". His main interest his in the basic understanding of thyroid hormone signaling and its influence on neurodevelopment.
