JOHNSON THOMAS

Dr. Thomas practices general endocrinology with a focus on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. He is a recipient of Kenneth Simcic Award for Academic Excellence in Endocrinology and Researcher of the year from Mercy ministry. Dr. Thomas developed Endo Tools, an iPhone app for endocrinologists, which has been used by endocrinologists all over the world.
Dr. Thomas has a profound interest in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in thyroidology, particularly in enhancing the risk stratification of thyroid nodules. His research includes the development of AI models aimed at improving the accuracy of thyroid nodule diagnoses, thereby reducing subjectivity and enhancing malignancy prediction. Additionally, he has contributed to studies on the efficacy of ultrasound-guided laser ablation therapy for thyroid nodules.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Thomas is an avid Python programmer, integrating his coding skills with his medical expertise to advance AI applications in endocrinology. His dedication to clinical research is evident through his numerous publications and his commitment to improving patient outcomes in thyroidology and diabetes care.
