Dr. Juan Pablo Dueñas is a Surgeon with a medical degree from Universidad del Cauca in Popayán (1993-2000). He specialized in General Surgery at Universidad CES in Medellín (2005-2009) and completed a Super Specialization in Endocrine Surgery at the Endocrine Surgery Unit, Hospital Universitario del Mar in Barcelona, Spain (2009-2010). In 2014, he obtained the European Board of Surgery certification in Endocrine Surgery from Cardiff, UK. He currently practices at CLID - Clínica El Rosario, Sede El Tesoro in Medellín, Colombia, where he has performed over 400 radiofrequency ablation procedures, a minimally invasive technique for treating thyroid nodules.
