LAURA DELFINO

I am a specialist in Endocrinology and a staff physician at Hospital Ramos Mejía in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I am an active member of the Thyroid Unit and lead the outpatient clinic of Graves’ Orbitopathy within the hospital’s multidisciplinary team. My clinical and academic work is focused on thyroid disorders, with particular interest in autoimmune thyroid disease, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid eye disease.
I have participated in the Endocrine Society’s Global Leadership Academy and completed the EUGOGO Teaching Course, both of which have enriched my professional development in the field of thyroidology.
I am a member of the Latin American Thyroid Society and of the Argentine Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SAEM), where I currently serve on the Thyroid Department and previously founded and coordinated SAEM Joven, the society’s division for early-career endocrinologists.
In parallel with my clinical practice, I hold an academic position as an adjunct professor at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where I contribute to the training of medical students and endocrinology residents.
