Dr. Lori Wirth is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Medical Director of the Center for Head and Neck Cancers at Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University and earned her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Wirth trained as a fellow in Hematology/Oncology at Harvard's Dana-Farber/Mass General Brigham CancerCare Fellowship Program and was on staff in Head and Neck Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She is a leading expert in head and neck oncology, particularly in combined modality therapy for head and neck cancers and advanced thyroid cancer treatments, and serves on various national and international committees guiding cancer research and treatment.
