AARTI MATHUR

Aarti Mathur, M.D., FACS, is an experienced endocrine surgeon and associate professor of surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas and completed a general surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, followed by fellowships at the National Cancer Institute and Johns Hopkins. Dr. Mathur specializes in the surgical management of benign and malignant diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and cervical lymph nodes. She also leads an NIH-funded research group focused on voice and swallowing outcomes after thyroidectomy and the link between hyperparathyroidism and other health conditions.
