Carmelo Nucera, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and Principal Investigator of the Human Thyroid Cancers Preclinical and Translational Research Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. A specialist in endocrine cancers, his research focuses on metastatic mechanisms, tumor microenvironments, and targeted therapies for BRAFV600E-positive thyroid cancers. Dr. Nucera has received funding from the NIH/NCI and the American Thyroid Association and is committed to advancing translational thyroid cancer research while mentoring medical and PhD students.
