Dr. José Higino Steck is a specialist in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncologic Surgery, having completed his medical training and residency at UNICAMP. He holds a Ph.D. from USP and serves as a Professor in the Head and Neck Surgery Division of the Otolaryngology Department at UNICAMP. A pioneer in advanced technologies for head and neck procedures, he has introduced techniques such as sialoendoscopy, thyroid radiofrequency ablation, non-surgical thyroid nodule treatment, and ultrasound-guided thyroid therapies. He also coordinates courses on cervical ultrasound, sialoendoscopy, and thyroid nodule ablation and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences.
