CLINICAL ACTIVITIES

Clinical care activities as Senior Medical Director within the Operating Unit of Pediatrics with Pediatric Endocrinology - IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele - Milan articulated in the following areas Department of Pediatrics, Day Hospital, Outpatient Clinics of General Pediatrics and Pediatric and Neonatal Endocrinology.

Research activities in the field of developmental age, mainly in the field of thyroid pathology, with special reference to congenital hypothyroidism (neonatal screening, prematurity, diagnosis and diagnostic re-evaluation, studies on new formulations of L-thyroxine, neuropsychological aspects and studies on genetics and epigenetics), autoimmune thyroid diseases (with special reference to definitive therapy of hyperthyroidism) and nodular thyroid pathology with reference to tumor forms.

Teaching activities as a tutor in the Pediatric Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery - Lecturer in the Faculty of Pediatrics and in the Master of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology and Clinical Nursing at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milan.

- Senior Medical Director of the Pediatric Surgical Unit with specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology - IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital - Milan, Italy

- Contract Professor - Vita-Salute University San Raffaele

- Responsible for the Outpatient Clinic of Thyroid Pathology in Developmental Age of the O.U. of Pediatrics

- Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with congenital hypothyroidism in collaboration with the Neonatal Screening Center of the Lombardy Region and the National Register for Congenital Hypothyroidism of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

- Consultant at the Thyroid Unit of San Raffaele Hospital for the management of pediatric thyroid tumors and genetic syndromes with cancer risk.

- Referent of Endo-Ern and Head of the Pediatric Area of the Middle Thematic Group 4 and 8.

- Pediatric Life Support Instructor
