Present Position: Since October 1990 Chief Physician, Endocrine Division, Department of Medicine, National University Hospital, Copenhagen. Since Sept 2010 Professor at University of Copenhagen, and Adjungated professor at University of Messina, Italy.

Teaching: Since 1975 teaching at pregraduate level at various medical schools. Since 1980 postgraduate teaching in endocrine diseases both nationally and internationally. Tutor for 25 medical students of pregraduate medical theses and for 16 accepted PhD theses and two accepted MD thesis. Reviewer of 12 MD and 20 PhD theses. Currently tutor for 10 PhD students and other young colleagues in research.
