Endocrinologist, Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Postgraduate Program in Endocrinology at the UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul) School of Medicine. He also serves as Preceptor of the Thyroid Unit and Head of the Internal Medicine Service at HCPA (Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre), both in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
