Dr. Matthew Ringel is a distinguished endocrinologist and the director of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Ohio State University. He holds the Ralph W. Kurtz Chair in Hormonology and serves as co-leader of the Cancer Biology Program at OSUCCC - James. Dr. Ringel completed his medical education at Pennsylvania State University, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He then pursued a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has authored numerous scientific articles in prestigious journals, such as Nature Communications and the Journal of the American Medical Association, and has made significant contributions to the field of thyroid cancer.
