Associate Professor of Physiology at the State University of Rio de Janeiro;
Researcher at the Laboratory of Endocrine Physiology of the Biology Institute. Research focus: diseases associated with development (The DOHaD Concept).
Degree in Biology from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1994); master’s degree (1997) and doctorate (2001), both from the Biophysics Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
She has experience in the areas of Physiology and Nutrition, working mainly on the following topics: programming, metabolic syndrome, early weaning, malnutrition, overnutrition, xenobiotics and endocrine disruptors.
