2 -ENTRY INTO BRAZIL

Please ensure you bring your passport and, if applicable, a valid VISA.

Private Transportation Service

We strongly recommend booking private transfers with CCM Tur, the official travel agency, for safety and convenience. Travel time from Rio’s airports (Galeão or Santos Dumont) to the venue is approximately 40–45 minutes. Speakers are encouraged to book in advance.

Taxi Service

If using a taxi, please book at authorized airport counters. Avoid accepting rides from individuals offering services outside the arrival area.

 

Uber

Uber services are available at designated Uber Lounges in both airports:

Santos Dumont: Bossa Nova Mall (turn left upon exiting the arrivals area).

Galeão: Between Terminals 1 & 2. Follow the signs from Domestic Arrivals.
Choose your pick-up zone (Orange, Green, or Purple) when requesting your ride.

 

4 - WEATHER FORECAST 

Overall, expect mild winter conditions with daytime temperatures ranging from 23°C to 26°C (73°F to 79°F) and nighttime lows between 17°C and 21°C (63°F to 70°F). 

There is a possibility of light rain on June 19 and 20.

5 - REGISTRATION & BADGE PICKUP

EXPRESS BADGE PICKUP | EXCLUSIVE FOR CONFIRMED REGISTRATION 

The Express Badge Pickup will be available in some hotels upon your arrival, from June 17th - 18th.

If your registration is already paid and confirmed, take advantage of this service and get ready to arrive at the Venue and proceed straight to the activities rooms.

We strongly encourage attendees to complete any pending payments in advance to avoid delays.

 

Pending Payment Details

  • Cash: Please bring the amount in Brazilian reais (BRL). If not possible, bring the exact amount in USD (change will be in BRL only).
  • Cards: International credit and debit cards are accepted (check your card’s international transaction settings).

Identification Badges

Badges are mandatory for access to all event areas. Security will strictly enforce badge usage.

Ribbons will be provided to identify participant categories:

  • ATA, AOTA, ETA, LATS, Secretary: Available at respective society booths
  • LOC, POC, Speakers: Available at the Slide Preview Room
  • Presenters (Short Oral, Oral, Poster): Collect at the Abstract Desks

If you misplace your badge, a replacement can be issued for BRL 50.00.


6 - LUGGAGE STORAGE

Available at the 2nd basement level:

June 18th | 8am - 6pm

June 19th | 7am - 9pm

June 20th | 6:30am - 6:30pm

June 21st | 6:30am - 6pm

June 22nd | 7:30am - 4pm

Note: Luggage can only be collected during these hours.

7 - OFFICIAL LANGUAGE 

The official language of the Congress is English. There will be no simultaneous translation.

8 - PRE-CONGRESS COURSES

Dates: June 18–19 (afternoon/morning)

Registration required through My Login Area on the website (if available).

If spots remain, you may register on-site at the Registration Desk.

Attention: For those who will not participate in the courses, we reiterate that June 18th (afternoon) and June 19th (morning time) are dedicated exclusively to these activities.

13 - CERTIFICATES

Participation certificates will be available starting June 30th on the event website:

  1. Click on “Certificates”
  2. Enter your registration email
  3. Complete the Satisfaction Survey
  4. Download or print your certificate

Note: Certificates will be issued only to participants attending in person.

 

14 - ROOM CAPACITY

Please note that all rooms will operate under strict capacity limits. Once full, entry will be restricted as per fire safety regulations.
